ADHD Coaching
What is coaching?
According to the International Coach Federation:
Coaching is partnering with people in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their potential. Coaches provide an ongoing partnership designed to help clients produce fulfilling results in their personal and professional lives. Coaches help people improve their performances and enhance the quality of their lives. Coaches are trained to listen, to observe and to customize their approach to individual client needs. They seek to elicit solutions and strategies from the client; they believe the client is naturally creative and resourceful.
The coach’s job is to provide support to enhance the skills, resources, and creativity that the client already has.
In addition to meeting all requirements and qualifications of a coach as defined above, ADHD Coaches have specific training and expertise in coaching people and/or groups affected by ADHD.
If you have been diagnosed with ADHD or just suspect you might have ADHD, we can work together to simplify the basics so you can pursue your God-given gifts. They are:
- Phone Coaching (half-hour or hour weekly calls (Contact me for more info)
- Hands on Organizing (see the Professional Organizing page for more info)
In order to minimize the challenges of ADHD and maximize its gifts, I suggest we use a wholistic approach. As much attention as you can give to each of the following areas will bring you that much closer to realizing your full potential. Those areas are medical, physical, behavioral, emotional and educational.
We can develop a wholistic plan and work together to keep it balanced and on track. Having a more organized life will help you achieve this.
